How This Investment Will Strengthen Local Health Care? 

Every day, our Emergency Department provides care for patients and families in our community who need timely, safe, and often life-saving treatment. Reliable cardiac monitoring equipment is essential to that care. This equipment will help us modernize our Emergency Department and ensure that every treatment space has access to the monitoring equipment needed to safely care for patients. The total cost of the project is $191,340. 

  • Dedicated monitors in each treatment space will allow staff to continuously monitor patients and identify changes in their condition sooner. This is particularly important for patients who are critically ill or require close observation.

  • Currently, monitors may need to be moved between rooms, and patients may sometimes be moved simply to access monitoring equipment. Equipping every treatment space will allow patients to be placed based on their medical needs, not whether a monitor is available. 

  • Standardizing equipment will reduce the need for staff to manage multiple types of monitors and accessories. It will simplify training, reduce equipment movement, and allow health care providers to spend more time focused on what matters most: caring for patients.

  • This project is more than an equipment upgrade. It is an investment in safer emergency care, stronger health care teams, and better outcomes for patients in our community.
